
Some time when we try auto upgrade of Wordpress using default Wordpress upgrade option, Wordpress give many errors like memory exhausted or wp-includes/default-widgets.php on line 1038 or could be many other.
Solution to these problems are not very simple Like we might need to disable all the plugins using FTP or phpmyadmin. We need to change the theme to default theme , manually upgrade Wordpress or in some major cases reinstalling wordpress with the same old version.
While working on a client project, I faced the similar issue and I had to reinstall the previous version. The problem is finding the old version of wordpress.
Luckily Wordpress maintain an archive page from where you can download the old version of Wordpress. I’m sure this link will be handy in hard times :
