It’s a fact that Google hate Affiliate links and discourage use of affiliate links. More over an affiliate links look ugly , and sometime readers find it hard to click on such ugly looking affiliate links.
Gocodes is a useful wordpress plugin which hide your affiliate links and make them look pretty. More over you can add a nofollow tag to links clocked by Gocodes plugin. This will ensure that search engine will not crawl your affiliate links.
Here is an example of Link converted by Gocodes. First one is an affiliate link for Thesis wordpress theme and second one is link converted by Gocodes wordpress plugin.
Link 1 : http://diythemes.com/?a_aid=shoutmeloud
Link 2 : http://www.themepremium.com/Offer/Thesissignup/
See the difference in both the links. If you use affiliate links in your wordpress blog, I recommend to use this plugin.

Thanks harsh, I was searching for this trick for last 2 months. I had seen many cloak their links like this but couldn’t figure out how to do it.
Superb just what I was looking for because I just know people back away from clicking when they spot an affiliate
This is a pretty simple and effective plugin – thanks! Just one note – if you installed wordpress in it’s own directory, it will invariably be a part of the redirect url. For example, if the the install directory is ‘wordpress’, the url in your example would end up looking like:
http://www.themepremium.com/wordpress/Offer/Thesissignup/
Hi!
How much time takes to get all links change their redirection name from http://www.link.com/track-1313 to http://www.link.com/product ?
Do you recommend me to use nofollow for links?
This can really increase the click rate on the ads. Thanks for Sharing, Harsh
Thanks, i finally found it. It’s wonderfull plugin ! Specially your website banner (3d people) is that you?
Funny, i like it..
Thanks, been looking all over for how this works. I just have one question that maybe you could answer for me. Is the Clickbank hoplink still suppose to show up in the browser. I noticed the bottom showed the cloaked link, but it was still in the browser.
I need some help. I have installed GoCodes and setup the URL trigger in the Settings-GoCodes link. When I go to the GoCodes link under the Tools Menu, I setup up the redirect and it shows as accepted, but it does not list at the bottom under Manage GoCodes.
