How to Burn WordPress Blog Feed using Feedburner

Feedburner is a free Feed stats software for WordPress blog which gives you ability to keep track of your Feed stats. Earlier we have given you a tutorial on how you can Configure Google analytics for WordPress blog.

In this Detailed tutorial I will show you how you can burn your WordPress default feed using Google feedburner.

By default your WordPress feed address is

http://www.themepremium.com/feed After feeding your Blog feeds using Feedbuner you can change it to something like

http://feeds.feedburner.com/Themepremium

Replace themepremium with your domain name.

To configure your feeds you need to create an account at http://www.feedburner.com for this you can use your existing Gmail or Google apps account or you can create a new Google account.

How to Burn Default WordPress Feeds :

Login to your Feedburner account and on the front page add your blog URL or feed address

Now you are done burning feeds for your blog. After this you may like to configure email subscription and other useful features of feedburner for your blog.

You should also download the feedburner feedmsith WordPress plugin to redirect the default feed to your newly created feedburner feeds.

    I got an error “An error occurred connecting to the URL: Error getting URL: 404 – Not Found”
    I don’t have a /feed folder in my server.. do I create it? what files should be inside?

    David you should have atleast one published post, else it will give 404 not found error. Hope this will help.
