Blogspot Wordpress migration service

Finally after a long wait Wordpress.com bloggers can offer Email subscription offer to their readers. To enable this service all they need to do is add Email subscription widget in the sidebar. Subscriber has the choice to select the option between receiving email updates in HTML or Plain text format.

According to Official announcement

If a visitor is logged in to WordPress they need only press the Subscribe Me!button, otherwise they can enter their email address.

All subscriptions require confirmation by the address owner, and subscriptions can be disabled at any time – the subscriber is in full control of what they receive.

That’s a very useful update for free wordpress blogs. But on the second thought? Are you still using free wordpress blog? Do you know the difference between free wordpress and self hosted wordpress blogs?

This is a nice feature which would help many bloggers on wordpress.com. It’s nice that if they are logged in that they just need to click the button, makes it easier for them as well.

Im really liking what I’m reading about this tool. I have a self hosted blog though and have been having all sorts of issues finding a suitable email subscription widget I can use. It only needs to be basic but preference is for emails not too loose all its formatting when sent.

Do you have any suggestions or recommendations on where to look?

Any advice appreciate. Thanks Georgia
