This is really good that finally wordpress team has been struck by the wave of theme framework revolution and it will even get better when wordpress version 3.0 comes out as its going to have a lots of cool new features and of course the above said new theme packed in it as well.
This post is a no brainer but I just thought of sharing this email that has been lying in my personal web mail for quite some time now
This is how the mail read:-
“Version 3.0 will have a new default theme, better upgrades, dynamic image resizing, and more. See you next year!”
Looking at this email its for sure that wordpress 3.0 will surely have new theme instead of the current default kubrick theme.
If wordpress team does not come up with a new new theme,here is a list of theme’s that I would personally like to see in wordpress 3.0
Hybrid by Justin Tadlock OR
Thematic by Ian Stewart OR
WP framework by Ptah Dunbar
These are all free themes and look descent without much modifications ,and can customized to almost any framework one wants.
Leaving aside the free themes if wordpress (In fact Automattic) thinks of premium theme I would without any hesitation love to see thesis as the default wordpress theme . (I am a avid dreamer)
I would love to know your suggestions on which themes do you think are the best candidates as a successor to the wordpress kubrick theme, so please comment and share your views.

Thesis all the way. Let’s hear it for a premium theme
Thesis is definitely the way to go the only problem is that then Chris would not make money. He would have to work out a deal with WordPress so that he could make enough to live off of. I have a feeling that that will never happen. But it would be awesome!
Well that will be awesome and as a matter of fact chris made some gr8 free themes before making it big ,so I guess he could do this again.
Some mistakes in the article and in the title too. Proof reading might help SML and TP.

I think you don’t use spell checker! Copy and paste this post in MS Word and you will find out where you went wrong.
Dude I checked it again,and their are only two spell Errors wordpress and Automattic,I dunno wat error u r talking bout coz that’s how Wordpress and its owners(Automattic) are named .Leaving those errors if u find anymore please let us know.
