Wordpress has one great feature call Post-revision and which allow you to save your post automatically after every edit. This feature is certainly good specially when somehow you have done a blunder while editing a post, you can simply restore your previous saved version of posts.
For a newbie with Wordpress this feature seems to be good , but now worthy as you might overload your wordpress database with useless copy of your previously revised wordpress post. Here is an example of a post, which has been revised few times. This will be shown at the bottom of your blog post, while editing.= under dashboard.
You can see 8 instance of the same post is stored in the database and the biggest drawback is database size. It will increase the database size for nothing. So if you have a blog with multiple author or you edit your post a lot, a sound advice would be limit the number of revision or if you are sure that nothing wrong will happen while editing a post, you can disable this feature by using post revision plugin.
Do you have any better way to disable the post revision? if yes, share with us.
